Product Description of DOT C2 Red and White Reflective Tape

Reflective and Conspicuity DOT-C2 tape with 7-year durability rating – in accordance with current state and federal regulations. A retro-reflective optical system formed by laminating micro-prisms between layers of film. This is a retro-reflective micro-prism technology. DOT-C2 Tape is used on trucks and trailers up to 80 inches wide and weighing over 10,000 pounds. Properly applied to comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations to ensure proper visibility of large vehicles and trailers, especially at night. Roll length of 150 feet.

Reflective tape is mandated on all commercial vehicles, especially on those which have trailers and attachable cargo (freight).

Government vehicles are also mandated to have reflective tape, specifically on school buses, ambulances, and other public service vehicles.
