I needed signs to pass a fire inspection. These were the best/ longest glowing signs for the price. They really glow and for way longer than the required 90 minutes. It is a heavy duty sticker. It stuck well to painted (semi-gloss) and smooth metal surfaces. For a bare wood wall, I stuck it to one of those inexpensive plastic signs to make it more rigid & thumb tacked it to the wall. The background glows slightly green, which is easier to read in the dark than white.
