What is Glow In The Dark Heat Transfer Vinyl?

Glow In The Dark Heat Transfer Vinyl is a highly durable white polyurethane heat transfer film that glows great when the light goes out. Ideal for decorative clothing, holiday t-shirts, or any shirt that needs to stand out in the dark. Promotional shirts for nightclubs, concerts, etc. are also popular. Amusement parks can offer dark shirts for nighttime patrons, while haunted houses can promote their business by revealing glowing skulls and ghosts on their costumes. After full exposure to a light source, Glow in the Dark will glow for 4-6 hours.

Washing instruction: Allow 24 hours before the first wash. Do not dry clean; Do not bleach. Dry at normal setting. Washable up to 40℃. Cool water and handwash recommended.

How to Heat Press a Glow In The Dark HTV Vinyl?

Place the Glow HTV Vinyl on the clothing liner with one side facing up (vinyl down) and cover with the Teflon sheet. Press without the Teflon paper for 10 seconds, then press with the Teflon paper for 15 seconds. Allow to cool for 10 seconds, then peel off the carrier sheet. Apply Glow in the Dark HTV to the clothing.

• 1. Select the graph you want to select and make sure the measurements are accurate before sending it to the cutter. Use Cricut or another cutting tool. Make sure the image is mirrored or flipped in the Design Space before you begin cutting. Otherwise, the image will show backward on the shirt.
• 2. Place the Glow HTV on the glowing side of the Cricut Mat facing down. For “Glow in the Dark HTV”, remove the yellow film and place the glow side down on the Cricut mat. Peel off the top layer of the craft glow HTV on the smooth HTV of the Cricut mat.
• 3. Set the heat press or iron to 310 degrees when the machine is cutting.
• 4. When the machine is done cutting, trim off the excess vinyl so you don’t have to waste all the scrap! Cut off as much of the vinyl as possible to make the operation easier to handle. I recommend weed while the vinyl is still on the mat.
• 5. Place the blank shirt on the press and apply pressure for 3 seconds, this helps prepare the vinyl. The shirt is heated and the design is placed on the shirt.
• 6. Place the smooth luminous HTV on the shirt lining side up (vinyl side down) and cover with Teflon. Press for 10 seconds without the Teflon sheet, then 15 seconds with the Teflon sheet in place. Cool for 10 seconds, then peels off the carrier plate. Apply Glow in Dark HTV to the shirt. Press for 10 seconds. Wait 10 seconds, then peel off the carrier plate.

To maintain the integrity of the design, I recommend that you perform a cold wash and arrange for the shirt to air dry.

Application Of Glow In The Dark HTV Vinyl
