Our reflective outdoor vinyl comes with an adhesive on one side with a paper backing that protects the adhesive until exposed. The Reflective vinyl has a permanent adhesive. It is compatible with all personal hobby and craft cutters and can be used in many applications including car decals and signs.

It can be used indoors but is waterproof and weather resistant making it an ideal craft vinyl choice for outdoor applications as well.

Feature Of Reflective Vinyl

The self-adhesive reflective outdoor vinyl is a glossy surface with reflective properties, permanent engineering-grade vinyl, rated for 7 years of outdoor use, not recommended for use on walls, or with detailed cuts.

• Type of adhesive: Sheets are pre-coated with PS adhesive, which glues the sheet to the substrate by simply applying pressure. Pressure can be applied with a hand roller, squeegee, or roller applicator. Permanent bonding is not achieved until after 48 hours of use. Do not allow the glue to freeze during the 48-hour curing period.
• Durability: The most important characteristics of reflective panels are reflectivity, color, and durability. Of these, durability is probably the most important, so special attention is paid to the selection and use of raw materials and production techniques to obtain maximum durability. After numerous tests, it has been determined that reflective vinyl can meet the following durability criteria without the use of any clear coat when used as recommended. Under certain weathering conditions, small cracks may appear in the sheet, but such cracks will not significantly degrade the day and night performance of the sign.
• Engineered Grade (EG) Sheeting is designed and manufactured to provide high frontal and wide-angle reflectivity. Each color has 7-year durability.
• Application: Pre-applied adhesive firmly and permanently adheres to the panels to clean and smooth surfaces of tested and approved metal, coated metal, plastic, plywood, etc.
• Storage and Shelf Life. Must be stored in a cool, dry, clean place. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and storage in overly humid areas. The shelf life of the panels is 12 months after delivery.
• Maintenance: Surfaces covered with dust or small particles of sand should be cleaned with water containing a mild, neutral cleaning solution. To avoid scarring of the surface, soft, clean cloth or sponge should be used for cleaning and drying. To remove tar and oily substrates, wipe gently with a soft cloth soaked in a mild solvent such as kerosene or turpentine.
• Specialty vinyl behaves slightly differently than standard vinyl. We recommend always making a test cut and taking your time when handling these materials. These factors will vary depending on your machine setup, but in general, specialty vinyl tends to be more difficult to debond, so we recommend reverse debonding when handling specialty vinyl materials. Because of this, we recommend reverse dethatching when dealing with specialty vinyl.
