Prismatic Reflective Sheeting is a non-metallized microprismatic reflective sheeting designed to produce reflective and durable traffic control signs, work zone equipment, and delineators that are vertically exposed in use. It meets a wide range of specifications and national positions. The topcoat is much though. Not only does it shine at night, but it also has vibrant colors during the day. Reflective Material Super Intensity Micro Prismatic Reflective Sheeting WL-3170 Series are highly reflective, weatherproof, self-adhesive films with excellent corrosion and solvent resistance. The smooth surface allows a very good printability. The retro reflective system consists of sealed cells of air-backed micro prisms, using total internal reflection. The distinct shape of the sealing identifies the machine direction.

WL-3170 EGP Reflective Sheeting is a non-metalized micro-prismatic lens reflective sheeting designed for the production of reflective durable traffic control signs, work zone devices, and delineators that are exposed vertically in service. Applied to properly prepared sign substrates, provides long-term reflectivity and durability.

Compared with glass bead reflective products, it has more outstanding performance in small-angle reflective performance. So do outdoor durability. With the advantages of convenience, energy-saving, and environmental protection, usually, our products can reach a service life of 7 years.

The reflective sheeting has the highest reflective characteristics for short to medium distances on the roadway in RA values of 0.5° and 1.0° viewing angles, and the performance of these viewing angles represents the most common nighttime viewing geometry for motorists. During daylight hours, fluorescent reflectors provide higher visibility than regular (non-fluorescent) color reflectors. Applied to properly prepared sign substrates, reflective sheeting provides long-term retroreflectivity and durability. The product meets the specifications of ASTM D4956 type XI.

Cleaning Of Prismatic Reflective Vinyl

Signs that require cleaning should be flushed with water, then washed with a detergent solution and bristle brush or sponge. Avoid pressure that may damage the sign face. Flush with water following washing. Do not use solvents to clean signs.

Storage of Reflective Sheeting

Store in a cool, dry area and use within one year after the date of receipt. Store rolls in an original shipping carton or suspended horizontally from a rod or pipe through the core. Store sheets flat. Store color printed, pre-masked markings at a temperature below 29.5°C (85 °F). If stored above this temperature, blocking off the premask to the sheeting could occur.

Shelf Life of Reflective Vinyl

Unprinted sheets can be stored by the manufacturer for one year, and printed markings can be stored for another six months. Prismatic Sheeting and markings must be stored in a clean area, free from excessive moisture and direct sunlight, with ambient temperatures of 85 Fahrenheit or less.
